MAS Quran Institute (MQI) is Under Way

With the Grace of Allah SWT, a new addition to the SW youth center programs and projects have been initiated last week. We humbly thank Allah SWT for His blessings of helping us to start our MAS Houston Quran Institute. As of today, we have close to 140 people signed up to be included in the program; close to 70 students have already been placed in classes. All applicants had to go through an evaluation process to be placed in the right levels. Currently the MAS Youth Center is hosting 21 Quran classes on a weekly basis. Last Saturday was the first class meeting for the Quran institute. Currently, we have 5 part time specialized teachers who are well known as professionals in the field of teaching the Holy Quran. We are honored to have Dr. Main Al-Qudah, Br. Fayez Ghwari, Sr. Eyman Al-Qudah, Sh. Abdel Aowal, and Br. Nouh Faris as our Quran institute teachers.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of enrolling in the first of its kind program in the city of Houston. The program offers tajweed, recitation, memorization, and Arabic classes to all ages, all levels, brothers and sisters.
