Houston Quran Academy

Here are the hadeeths that guide our path, our vision, mission, and goals:

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "The best of you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it." (Agreed upon)
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "There is no envy except in two: a man Allah blessed with the Quran, he uses it to pray with it day and night, and a man Allah blessed with money, he spends it day and night." (Agreed upon)

Vision

To instill the Quran in the hearts of our children in such a way that makes it act as the engine that drives all the aspects of their lives.

Mission

HQA coaches its students and inspires them to memorize, understand, and practice the Holy Quran while striving for the highest academic achievement.

Goals

1. Our students will memorize the Holy Quran at a pace that suits the learner inshaa Allah.
2. Our students will understand what they memorize inshaa Allah.
3. Our students will be trained to practice what they memorize inshaa Allah.
4. Our students will excel in academic areas such as math, science, English, social studies, PE, and art inshaa Allah.
5. Our students will serve as contributing citizens and community builders inshaa Allah.

Academic Track

We require our students to be enrolled in an online public school program.

Almost all our students are enrolled with the Texas Virtual Academy (TXVA), which is an online charter school that offers a unique academic program.

The program is fully accredited and is part of the public-school system.

Students receive all the necessary textbooks and material at their home. TXVA even sends every student a computer and lab samples HQA certified teachers and staff help tutor and coach our students in their daily online learning experience.

Daily classes are offered in all academic areas which include math, science, English, social studies and physical education.
