About The Imam
Dr. Main Alqduah is the Imam of Katy Masjid. He has a Certificate of Qur'anic recitation (Ijazah) and memorization with an uninterrupted chain of correct readers that continues back to the Prophet Muhammad (prayers and peace be upon him.)
Dr. Main has Ph.D. in Islamic studies from American Open University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Al-Azhar. In addition, he is an assistant professor at American Open University, Sharia Academy of America, and Islamic American University, and a member of the Fatwa Committee of AMJA.
Dr Main is an experienced lecturer in Islamic Studies. In his teaching career, he has provided instruction and training to learners at schools as well as college level. He is a speaker at regional and national conferences.
