MAS Freedom Foundation mission is to build an integrated empowerment process for the American Muslim community through civic education, participation, community outreach, and coalition building; to forge positive relationships with other institutions outside of our community, that will ensure and facilitate the protection of civil rights and liberties for American Muslims and all Americans.

Voting is power, VIP campaign, is a major campaign for MASF to educate the Muslim community about how they can make a difference. In 30+ nationwide close races, the Muslim American vote can be a deciding factor. It’s important for us, therefore, to vote. But before that, let’s be aware of the issues. Please find out where a candidate stands before voting.

Nationwide surveys show that the following issues are considered high priority for Muslim Americans:

• Erosion of civil liberties
• Human rights violations
• Unfair immigration laws
• Foreign policies of unilateral aggression against Muslim countries
• Health care
• Education
