MAS Katy Center
MAS Houston purchased an 11-acre property in Katy this year to establish an extensive, full-fledged center for the Houston community. Currently, the property houses a mosque and trailers for community activities. MAS Houston is working hard on the development of the MAS Katy center project, which will insha'allah become one of the most thriving community centers in the Houston area and a one-stop place for families to enjoy needed services within nurturing, Islamic environments.
Dr. Main Alqduah is the Imam of Katy Masjid. Dr. Main has a Certificate of Qur'anic recitation (Ijazah) and memorization with an uninterrupted chain of correct readers that continues back to the Prophet Muhammad (prayers and peace be upon him.) He has Ph.D. in Islamic studies from American Open University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Al-Azhar. In addition, he is a professor at American Open University and a member of the Fatwa Committee of AMJA.
Dr Main is an experienced lecturer in Islamic Studies. In his teaching career, he has provided instruction and training to learners at schools as well as college level. He is a speaker at regional and national conferences.

Congratulation to our Muslim community for the startup of the construction of the first Islamic complex in the Katy area geared towards satisfying the needs of our youth. By the end of Phase 1 construction we will have sport facilities ready for the use of our youth such as soccer/football field, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball and play ground for the children. All of that was possible through your continuous generous financial support. At this time we are committed to build on the momentum and continue with the construction but that will depend on your donation today.
